Clownfish are known for their close relationship with sea anemones, finding protection within them while also contributing to the life around them. It is a relationship built on trust, balance and mutual support.
For me, that connection feels symbolic of the places and people that make us feel safe enough to be ourselves.
The reef surrounding the clownfish is full of colour, texture and movement, yet the fish seems calm within it all. It doesn’t need to fight against its surroundings — it belongs there.
This piece is a reminder that strength doesn’t always come from standing alone. Sometimes it comes from knowing where you belong, allowing yourself to be supported, and finding comfort in the connections that help you grow.
