Inspired by nature

8/6/2025

Growing up in Australia, I’ve always felt a deep connection with nature. There is so much natural beauty here, and I feel truly blessed to call it home. Having spent a good part of my life moving around and living in other countries, I’ve grown to appreciate where I come from even more. While I’m primarily based in Perth, I’ve also lived in Darwin and Sydney before relocating to Minnesota in 2020 for four years. Although the winters were extreme, we loved experiencing the magic of spring and summer, often spending our days bike riding and soaking up the outdoors.

I’ve always been drawn to nature — maybe it’s the Sagittarius in me! Whenever I feel overwhelmed, overstimulated, or just completely drained, I step outside, and it’s like an instant reset. The fresh air, the warmth of the sun on my skin, and the sound of birdsong bring me a sense of grounding and calm. For me, nature truly is our most powerful form of natural medicine.

Australia’s landscapes are overflowing with beauty — from scenic beaches to bushlands rich with native flora and fauna. My parents own an 8000m² property in Yallingup, close to the beach, and it’s become our little sanctuary. During school holidays, we escape there to unwind, recharge, and reconnect. I believe having these moments of rest and immersion in nature is so important for our well-being.

Through my art, I aim to express the way I see the world and share that sense of peace with others. I want my pieces to evoke calmness and joy, almost like a form of art therapy. I also hope to combine my degree in Psychology with my passion for creativity by making art tutorials and, perhaps one day, running workshops where people can experience the therapeutic side of creating art.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. I hope it resonates with you and inspires you to embrace the beauty around us.

With love,
Patti xx
