Symbolically, the oyster represents protection, resilience and the beauty that can form within. Its hard outer shell protects what is delicate inside, reminding us that some of the most precious parts of ourselves are often the ones we keep guarded.

Surrounded by the reef, the oyster becomes part of a much bigger story of connection and belonging. Every small part of the ecosystem has a purpose, and together they create something vibrant, resilient and full of life.

For me, this piece is a reminder that growth doesn’t always have to be loud or visible. Sometimes the most beautiful things are forming quietly beneath the surface — protected and nurtured until they are ready to emerge.
